Sticky Wicket is organised and delivered as a fundraising event on behalf of the Lord’s Taverners.

The Sticky Wicket Steering Group is a collective of event and exhibition industry people passionate about events and sports, and want to raise money for a fantastic charity, Lord's Taverners, for whom we have collectively raised £600,000 over the last 18 years!

The Lord's Taverners exist to positively impact the lives of young people facing the challenges of inequality. We work across the UK and beyond to provide free, inclusive and impactful cricket programmes, empowering young people with disabilities and from disadvantaged communities to develop the knowledge, skills, capabilities and confidence required to overcome the challenges of inequality, raise their aspirations and reach their potential.

We are not a business but we are commercially driven!   Neither are we exclusive. Anyone who is in the event or exhibition industry is welcome to get involved, support, contribute, help, sponsor and be a networking spectator.

However, if you want to throw on the whites and rub shoulders with the great and good, set foot on the Sticky Wicket and experience an excellent day of cricket, you will have to sponsor a team or be invited by a sponsor to play.
